Circle Surround VST Pro from SRS Labs is a surround encode/decode VST plug-in suite for Steinberg's Nuendo, Cubase and any other Digital Audio Workstation software that has multi channel VST support. The plug-in allows audio professionals to provide up to 6.1 channel surround sound for delivery via any stereo transmission or storage media.
The Circle Surround VST Pro is fully compatible with a wide range of compression codecs, including AC-3, AAC, MP3, Windows Media and more. The easy-to-use interface provides control of output levels and decoding options and fully supports Steinberg's Nuendo surround panning.
Encoder
• Delivers high quality multi-channel audio via any standard stereo storage or transmission medium
• Up to 7-channel input with 2-channel output
• Supports 44.1, 48 and 96kHz sample rates
• Full bandwidth playback of three rear channels (Ls, Cs and Rs)
• Selectable low-pass filter on LFE channel
• Accepts project stems in LCR, LCRS, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0 and 6.1 surround formats
• Selectable high-pass filter on main channels for full control of low frequency content
• Compatible with compression codecs with stereo bit rates as low as 64Kbps and delivers premium audio performance at 192Kbps
• Identical in performance to the SRS CSE-07 Circle Surround hardware encoder

• Reference monitor for Circle Surround and Circle Surround II decoders existing in consumer home and automotive surround systems
• 2-channel input with up to 7-channel output

• Decode modes for Circle Surround, LCRS, stereo and mono
• "True Bass" bass extension processor
• "Dialog Clarity" enhancer processor
